威尔士大学东北威尔士高等教育学院专门为申请攻读2005/06全日制硕士学位的中国留学生设立了奖学金，其内容如下。

　　申请条件：
1． 申请人必须符合其所选专业的各项入学要求，包括相应的雅思成绩。
2． 申请人必须有足够的经济能力支付奖学金以外的学习生活费用。
3． 申请人需要参加一个本校在中国开办的短期英语班，学习时间为1-2周。
4． 申请人应在2005年6月以前办理完申请手续，正式入学时间为9月。

　　加上奖学金后，学生只需付?5，750英镑，包含：

1． 全部学费
2． 37周住宿费 （时间为2005年9月17日至2006年6月3日，由学校统一安排校内宿舍，内有单人床，书柜，书桌及衣柜，免费上网。6人共用一间厨房，厨房设备齐全，配有燃气炉，烤箱，烤炉，冰箱及冰柜。
3． 短期英语班学费

　　一般情况下研究生一年学费加住宿费为?11，000 英镑左右，此奖学金计划可为每位学生和家长节约?4,500英镑，约合人民币67,500元。
